Replacement of the windshield washer pump

Preliminary work

Removing the cover of the rear right engine compartment.

- Loosen the lock (1)
- Remove the cover (2).
Covering the vehicle battery
WARNING:
Unprotected battery terminals. Risk of short circuits! Risk of fire!

NOTE: The following step(s) must be performed if the listed component(s) is/are installed.
- Cover the vehicle battery with the special tool 2 452 007 as shown.
Refer to REMOVING THE LID FOR THE WASHER FLUID RESERVOIR .
Refer to REMOVING THE MOUNTING OF THE HOOD SEAL .
Refer to REMOVING FRONT RIGHT WHEEL .
Refer to REMOVING THE REAR SECTION OF THE FRONT WHEEL ARCH COVER FRONT .

Remove windshield washer pump

Pull windshield washer pump (1) out of washer fluid reservoir (2).

Pull gasket (1) out of washer fluid reservoir (2).

Replace the window washer pump.

Remove the battery cover .

NOTE: The following step(s) must be performed if the listed component(s) is/are installed.
- Remove the special tool 2 452 007 from the battery.

- Lock the lock (1).
