Checking the gel pad

- Check the silicone-coated surface (1) and the PCB (2) for damage.
Result

Measure
- Replace the gel pad.

Replacing the gel pad
NOTE:

- Only use microfiber cloths.
- Pull off the gel pad (1) manually.
Do not touch or damage the PCB (2).
- Remove present residual gel using a microfiber cloth.
- Clean the surface of the rain-light-solarcondensation sensor with a microfiber cloth soaked in a solvent cleaner R2.

- Replace gel pad.

- Pull off the yellow protective film (1).
- Position the gel pad (1) centrally on the surface of the rain-light-solar-condensation sensor (2).
Do not squeeze out any air pockets present.
Air pockets disappear within 30 min after assembly of the sensor on the windshield.
- Pull off the protective film (1).
