Removing the 12 V socket from the storage compartment in the center console

Preliminary work
- Turn the head of the special tool (1) to the left until the marks (arrows) are positioned opposite each other.
- Carefully insert the special tool (1) into the 12 V socket (3).
- if applicable, carefully turn the special tool (1) towards the left until the recesses (2) of the special tool (1) are engaged with the contacts (4) of the 12 V socket (3).
- Turn the head of the special tool (1) towards the right until the special tool is locked in the 12 V power socket (3).
- Pull the special tool 0 496 588 (61 0 250) with the 12 V socket out of the storage compartment in the center console in arrow direction.
- Feed out the corresponding plug connection and disconnect.
- Remove the 12 V power socket.
