Front (E36, E39 & E52)

NOTE: Camber is defined by design and cannot be adjusted except by correcting components which may be damaged or faulty.
  1. Check if rubber mount in control arm is faulty and replace if necessary.
  2. Check if control arm is deformed and replace if necessary.
  3. Check if spring strut is deformed and replace if necessary.
  4. Check if guide joint is badly worn and replace control arms if necessary.
  5. Check if spring force is insufficient and replace coil springs if necessary.
  6. Check if front axle carrier is deformed and replace if necessary.
  7. Check if spring strut mount holder is deformed and repair front end if necessary.
  8. Check if there is distortion in floor assembly (engine carrier) and repair body if necessary.
