Installing rear wheel speed sensor

Clean the bore for the wheel speed sensor and grease it with lubricating grease (see applicable BMW parts catalogue).

CONSUMABLE SPECIFICATION

Lubricating grease Staburags NBU 12K

100 g, Tube

83 23 9 407 810

Install rear wheel speed sensor.
Position and tighten the screw (2).

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Rear wheel speed sensor on wheel carrier
Replace screw.	tightening torque	12 Nm

Hook the cable of the wheel speed sensor into the holders (1).
Hook the cable of the wheel speed sensor into the holders (1).
Connect the plug connection (2).

Mount the wheel arch cover (2).
Replace the plastic nuts (1).
