Removing the covers for the interior rearview mirror

Push the cover (1) upwards slightly in the marked areas and unclip it from the detents (2) towards the rear.

Unclip the cover (1) from the cover (3) in upward direction.
Remove cover (1) from mirror base (2).

Raise the clips (1) slightly on both sides of interior rearview mirror.
Remove cover (2) in downward direction.
