Remove both inner front door sill cover strips

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Remove front entrance cover strip

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
Bending of plastic components.
Application of too much force can lead to bending of plastic components.

Place special tool directly beside the mounting clip.
Continue unclipping the part without using the tool if possible.

Pull the front door sill cover strip (1) slightly inward in area (2) and detach it from the clips (3) to the top.
