Releasing air conditioning compressor

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Secure component against falling.

Unclip the transmission oil thermostat (1) upward from the decoupling elements (2) on the front subframe.

Release the screw (1) as shown.

Loosen the screws (1) on the air conditioning compressor (2) .
Place the air conditioning compressor (2) to the side.

Unscrew screws (2) on the bearing bracket (1) .
Pull off the bearing bracket (1) from the crankcase (3) , guide it out downward and remove it.

Release the screws (1) and remove the refrigerant lines (2) from the air conditioning compressor (3) .

Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Shift the transmission oil thermostat (2) slightly to the side.
Place the air conditioning compressor (1) to the side.
NOTE: Tie up the air conditioning compressor.
