Releasing air conditioning compressor

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Secure component against falling.
Secure component against falling.
- Unclip the transmission oil thermostat (1)
upward from the decoupling elements (2)
on the front subframe.
- Release the screw (1)
as shown.
- Loosen the screws (1) on the air conditioning compressor (2) .
- Place the air conditioning compressor (2)
to the side.
- Unscrew screws (2) on the bearing bracket (1) .
- Pull off the bearing bracket (1)
from the crankcase (3)
, guide it out downward and remove it.
- Release the screws (1)
and remove the refrigerant lines (2)
from the air conditioning compressor (3)
.
- Unlock plug connection (1)
and disconnect.
- Shift the transmission oil thermostat (2) slightly to the side.
- Place the air conditioning compressor (1)
to the side.NOTE: Tie up the air conditioning compressor.
