Removing the wheel guide joint

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Preliminary work

Refer to REMOVING FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT WHEEL .
Refer to LOOSENING THE OUTPUT SHAFT FROM THE WHEEL BEARING .

Unfasten nut (1).
Remove the screw (2).

Unfasten nut (1).
Release the wishbone (2) including the wheel guide joint from the swivel bearing towards the top in direction of arrow.

Unfasten nut (1).
NOTE: Counter-hold at the Torx socket.
Remove the wheel guide joint (2).
