Removing the front subframe

- Lower the front axle support (1) by dimension (A) .
Dimension (A) = maximum 10 cm

Secure component against falling.
Secure component against falling.
- Release the screws (1) on the engine oil cooler (2) at left and right.
- Position engine oil cooler (1) behind the front axle support (2) .
- Lower the front subframe (1) in the arrow direction using special tool 0 490 133 (00 2 030) and remove it.
- Position the engine oil cooler (2) .
- Screw in the screws (1) by a few turns.
