Remove left front-end strut

Driving without the strut brace/front-end strut or tension strut is not permitted.

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Preliminary work

Refer to REMOVING THE COVER IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT ON THE LEFT .

Remove the front-end strut (1) from the intake filter housing (2) .
