Removing upper oil sump section (engine removed)

Unlock and disconnect plug connections (1) .
Disengage the cable bracket (2) .

Position special tool 0 493 936 (11 9 240) (2) on the oil filter housing.
NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Collect and dispose of emerging fluids. Observe country-specific waste disposal regulations.
Release oil filter housing (1) .
Remove oil filter housing (1) with filter.

Loosen nut (1) .

Pull off engine oil pipes (2) .

Loosen screws (1) .
Release screws (2) with the special tool 0 496 646 (11 4 410) .
