Removing the left and right charge air cooler (engine removed)

Unlock and disconnect plug connections (1) .
Open the cable clip (2) and place the cable aside.

Unlock the retaining clips (1) with a suitable screwdriver.
Detach the coolant lines (2) and set aside.

Thread the hose (3) out of the holder on the charge air cooler.
Release the hose clamps (1) .
Pull the hose (2) off the connecting piece of the charge air cooler.

Loosen hose clamp (1) .
Loosen screw (2) .
Feed out the holder (3) downward.

Unlock the line (1) and disconnect.
Put the line to one side.
NOTE: There is risk of breakage.

Loosen screw (1) .
Unlock the holder (2) in an upward direction using a suitable screwdriver.

Unlock the retaining clip (1) on the hose (2) with a suitable screwdriver.
Detach hose (2) .

Release the hose clamps (1) .
Guide out the charge air cooler (2) upwards.

Removing oil filler neck

Release the screw (2) at the oil filler neck (3) .
Release the screw (1) at the oil filler neck (3) .

Turn the oil filler neck (1) by about 15° clockwise.
Remove the oil filler neck (1) .

Unlock the retaining clips (1) with a suitable screwdriver.

Unlock plug connection (3) and disconnect.

Thread the hose (1) out of the holder on the charge air cooler (4) .
Loosen hose clamp (3) .
Pull the hose (2) off the stud of the charge air cooler.

Loosen screw (2) .
