Cleaning the brake caliper

Do not apply brake pad paste to brake pads and guides!

- Clean the contact surfaces (1) of the brake pistons (6 pieces) with brake cleaner.
- Check dust boots for damage; replace if necessary.
- Check the retaining spring (2) for damage and correct fit.

- Clean the contact surfaces (1) for the brake pads on the brake caliper with brake cleaner.
Do not mechanically clean the contact surfaces to prevent damage to the surface coating.
