Steering Wheel: Installation

Adjust contact ring before completing steering wheel installation. See CONTACT RING under ADJUSTMENTS.
Position steering wheel onto shaft splines using reference mark for realignment positioning. At same time, accurately align column locking pins into opening in contact ring on bottom of steering wheel.
Install and tighten steering wheel bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Connect horn wiring. Install air bag module. Activate air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
