Rubber Mounts On Control Arms (M3): Installation

Check installation location. Nub/arrow (2) on rubber mount points to marking (1) on bracket. See Figure.
Remove grease from bracket and rubber mount.

CAUTION: Mark bracket next to marking (1) with a center punch. See Figure.

Marking (1) points upwards. Press in rubber mount with special tools (31 2 131/133). Protrusion (A) must be the same on both sides. See Fig 1.
Install bracket for control arm. See CONTROL ARM BRACKETS .
