Contact Ring: Installation

- If installing original contact ring, center contact ring before installation. See CONTACT RING under ADJUSTMENTS. If installing new contact ring, new contact ring is held in center position with shipping lock pin. DO NOT remove lock pin until contact ring is attached to steering wheel.
- Install contact ring and reinstall screws holding ring to wheel hub. Pinch ends of locking pin with a pliers and remove. Reverse remainder of removal procedure and ensure system is functioning properly. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
