Activating System
WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 9 other vehicles, including the 2000 BMW Z3, 2000 BMW 328i, 2000 BMW 323i, 1999 BMW Z3, and 1999 BMW M3. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Ensure ignition switch is in OFF position. Reconnect all Orange SRS connectors that were disconnected. Position Orange SRS connector back into holder on steering column. Place Orange SRS connectors back into position near passenger air bag module. Install glove box.
- Install steering column lower casing cover. Connect negative battery cable. System is now activated. Perform system operation check to ensure system is functioning properly and no fault codes are set. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
