Seat Occupancy Module (SBE)

Output signals from the passenger-side seat occupancy sensor pad are converted from a varying analog signal to a digital pulse signal by the SBE. This signal is then sent to the SRS control unit to assist it in making deployment decisions. SBE module is located under passenger seat. Not all vehicles are equipped with this system.
