Removal & Installation (6-Cylinder)

Coolant temperature sensor is located under intake air manifold in cylinder head on cylinder No. 6. See Fig 1. Disconnect intake manifold. Disconnect electrical connector and unscrew temperature sensor. See Fig 2. Remove coolant temperature sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure. Check coolant level and top up coolant if necessary. Read out fault memory of DME control module, check stored fault messages, rectify faults, and cancel fault memory.
