Removal & Installation (6-Cylinder)

- Remove air filter housing. Remove mass airflow sensor. See MASS AIRFLOW SENSOR . Disconnect oil pressure and oil temperature switch connectors located next to oil filter housing. Remove wiring conduit mount screws. Unclip fuel lines and oil level sensor wire from retainer on oil dipstick tube. Disconnect oil return line from oil dipstick tube. Loosen screw and remove oil dipstick tube.
- Move wiring conduit aside and disconnect electrical connector on throttle. Remove 4 bolts, throttle body and gasket. See Fig 1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Replace oil dipstick tube and throttle body "O" rings.
