Removal & Installation (6-Cylinder)

Using scan tool, interrogate fault memory of DME control unit. Turn ignition off. Disconnect mass airflow sensor connector. Disconnect vacuum line from intake hose. Disconnect intake air hose clip. Disconnect clamps on intake filter housing. Remove intake hose with MAF sensor. See Fig 1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Check gasket between MAF sensor and upper section of air filter housing for damage. Replace as necessary. Using scan tool, interrogate fault memory of DME control unit. Check for stored fault codes. Repair faults as necessary. Clear memory.
