Removal & Installation (V8)

- Release fuel system pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE . Remove engine cover. See Figure. Disconnect throttle cable at throttle body. Disconnect ignition coils and fuel injectors.
- Disconnect fuel lines from fuel rail. Remove fuel rail mounting screws and pull off fuel rail with injectors. Remove retainer from top of fuel injector. Remove fuel injector(s). To install, reverse removal procedure. Coat injector "O" rings with petroleum jelly.
