Removal & Installation (V8)

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 82 other vehicles, including the 2006 BMW M3, 2006 BMW 330Ci, 2006 BMW 325Ci, 2005 BMW M3, and 2005 BMW 745i. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Turn ignition off. On some models, tank venting valve is fitted in front left wheel arch. See Fig 1. Disconnect plug connection. Release hose clamp and detach fuel hose. Open fastener and detach hose. See Fig 2.
On some other models, disconnect plug connection. Release hose clamp and detach hose. Remove tank venting valve from bracket. Open fastener and detach fuel hose. On all models, to install, reverse removal procedure. Always replace clip and fuel hose.
