Removal & Installation (V12)

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 82 other vehicles, including the 2006 BMW M3, 2006 BMW 330Ci, 2006 BMW 325Ci, 2005 BMW M3, and 2005 BMW 745i. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Turn ignition off. Remove both throttle bodies. See THROTTLE BODY . Mark plug connection on tank vent valve and disconnect. See Fig 1. Open fast release connections on tank vent valve, press down interlock, and remove hose. See Fig 2. Remove tank vent valves for cylinder banks No. 1-6 and 7-12 from bracket. See Fig 3. Unfasten hose clips and remove hoses. To install, reverse removal procedure.
