Removing the center armrest

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE REAR CENTER CONSOLE TRIM .

Precondition 

Center armrest is open.

• Open the center-armrest so that the spring is relaxed (1).
• Lift the spring (1) with long-nose pliers above the retaining lugs and detach.

• Press pins (1) with a screwdriver outwards.
• Pull out the pins (1) with long-nose pliers at the gearing (2) completely from the center console.
• Feed out the center armrest towards rear from the center console and remove.
