Removing The Front Left Side Panel

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVE THE COVER OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AT THE REAR LEFT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE LEFT HOOD SEAL .
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AT THE TOP REAR .
- Refer to REMOVING THE WHEEL .
- Refer to REMOVE THE FRONT SECTION OF THE FRONT WHEEL ARCH COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING THE REAR SECTION OF THE FRONT WHEEL ARCH COVER FRONT .

NOTE:
Schematic diagram is for example purposes. Some parts may differ in certain details.
- Mask areas (1) and (2) with plastic adhesive tape.
- Mask area (1) with plastic adhesive tape.
- Remove the sound insulation (1).
- Release screws (1) and (2).
- Release the wiring harness (1) at the attachment points (arrows).
- Loosen screw (2).
- Loosen screws (1).
NOTE:
To provide a better overview: Schematic diagram with partially hidden components.
- Open the front door.
Slightly pull the seal (1) downwards in the arrow direction.
- Loosen screw (2).
- Close front door.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Release the side panel with a second person in the order and direction shown.
- Pull side panel in the upper area of the A-pillar outwards (2).
- Pull side panel to the rear (3) and remove it.
