Removing the control unit for optional equipment system (SAS)

Precondition 

• Vehicles without airbag module for driver and knee protection.

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM PANEL FOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY .

• Disconnect the plug connection (2).
• Release the nuts (3) and remove the control unit for the optional equipment system (SAS) (1).
