Remove outer cover on front seat

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Unclip the handle (1) for seat height adjustment.

Pull the handle (1) up for backrest tilt adjustment.
Use a suitable tool to unlock the snap-in lug (2).
Guide out the handle (1) for backrest tilt adjustment upwards.

Loosen screw (1).
Remove the (2) metal brackets for the seat height adjustment.
Unclip the cover (3).

Loosen screw (1).
Unlatch the cover panel (2) at the detents (3) upwards.
Guide out and remove the cover (2).

Unlock and disconnect the plug connection (1) and, if necessary, unclip the cable clip.
