Removing the battery pack of BMW display key

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
Careless handling of tools and sharp-edged components.
Scratches, surface damage.

Open the lower housing trim (1) of the BMW display key at the marked points with special tool 0 493 687 (00 9 340) .

Carefully lift the lower housing trim (1) at a flat angle.
Disconnect the lower housing trim (1) from BMW display key (2) in arrow direction.

Lift the battery pack (1) carefully with the special tool 0 493 687 (00 9 340) .
