Installing The Reinforcement Of The B-Pillar

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Use only approved spot welder for repair.

Install and secure the new parts with an alignment bracket or a universal fixture.
Weld the new part in the area (1).

Apply sealant D1 on to the cavity sealing (1).
CONSUMABLE SPECIFICATION

Sealant D1 (seam sealing) 310 ml 83425A547B4

Install the new part and weld it in the areas (2).

Apply sealant D1 on to the new cavity sealing (1). Install cavity sealing.

Additional steps when installing the side panel:
Weld the separating cut (1), reinforcement plate and the areas (2) according to the new part preparation process.
