Remove Carrier Support

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Heat and release the bonded connection in area (1).
Do not damage the aluminum engine mount (2) in the process!

Perform the separating cut (1) as shown. Thereby disconnect only the outer panel.
Release the welded connections in areas (2) and (3).
Heat and release the bonded connection in area (1). Do not damage the aluminum spring support in the process!
Remove the section of the carrier support.

Heat and release the bonded connection in area (3). Do not damage the aluminum spring support in the process!
Remove the section of the bulkhead.

Open welded connections in areas (1) and (2).
Release carrier support from the cavity sealing (3).

Release the rivet connectors in area (1).
Heat and release the bonded connection in area (1). Do not damage the aluminum spring support in the process!
Remove the carrier support.
