Install the roof-mounted antenna housing

- Check centering pins (1) for damage.
- Clean the bonding surface (2) with cleaning agent R1.CONSUMABLE SPECIFICATION
Cleaning agent R1 100 ml, Bottle 83192211217 - Apply trace of adhesive bead all round outer contour as follows.
- Distance between adhesive bead and edge of antenna housing:
- A=6.5 mm±1 mm
- The start and end of the bead must overlap by a maximum of 10 mm.
- To prevent the adhesive from leaking, the adhesive bead diameter must not exceed 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm.
- Join the empty housing coated with adhesive (3) to block by hand.
- To spread the adhesive better, move the empty housing horizontally (3) back and forth while lightly pressing down.
- If necessary, fix the empty housing (3) with adhesive tape and press evenly.
- After bonding, leave vehicle to stand for at least 3 hours at room temperature.
- Remove the adhesive tape (2) from the outer roof panel (1) and if necessary from the empty housing (3).
