Removing the roof-mounted antenna housing

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
Careless handling of tools and sharp-edged components.
Scratches, surface damage.

Slide the yellow plastic adhesive tape (2) as far as possible under roof-mounted antenna housing (3).
CONSUMABLE SPECIFICATION

Yellow plastic adhesive tape 83199410979
Mask roof outer skin (1) as shown.

Position special tool 2 470 382 (1) in conjunction with special tool 0 494 968 (65 2 010) as shown.
Angle (a) = approx. 45° to the roof outer skin.

Angle (b) = approx. 45° to the roof-mounted antenna housing
Cut through the adhesive bead all around in the arrow direction and remove roof-mounted antenna housing (2).
NOTE: If greater effort is required, reposition special tool 1 to recut the adhesive bead if necessary.
Repair paint damage if necessary.
