Removing the side trim panel in the footwell on the A-pillar on the left and right

Pull the hood release lever (1) to the rear.
Lever out the locking mechanism (2).
Remove the hood release lever (1) to the inside.

Loosen screw (1).
Loosen the side trim panel (2) at the clips (3) and remove it toward the inside.
