Removing the center console
Preliminary work
- Refer to DEACTIVATING THE 48 V ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
- Refer to DEACTIVATING VEHICLE-SPECIFIC HIGH-VOLTAGE OR LOW-VOLTAGE VEHICLE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
- Refer to REMOVING FOOTWELL TRIM PANEL ON THE RIGHT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM PANEL FOR PEDAL MECHANISM .
- Refer to REMOVING THE CENTER CONSOLE TRIM .
- Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT STORAGE COMPARTMENT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE REAR CENTER CONSOLE TRIM .
- Release the screw (1)
the left footwell.
- Release wiring harness from the center console.
- Loosen the nuts (1)
and screws (2)
.
- Loosen screws (1) .
- Release wiring harness from the center console.
NOTE:
To provide a better overview: Schematic diagram with partially hidden components.
- Remove the center console (1) to the rear and upwards, feeding out the wiring harness while doing this.
