Removing the door sill trim panel

Precondition 

The front and rear doors are open.

• Release blind rivet (1) on the rear wheel arch trim.

• Release the rear wheel arch trim (1) at the clips (2).

• Loosen blind rivet (1).
• Release front wheel arch trim (2) on the clips (3).

• Loosen screws (1).
• Loosen nut (2).

• Release door sill trim panel (1) from the rear starting with the clips (2).
• Carefully thread out and remove door sill trim panel (1).
• If necessary, unlock associated plug connection and disconnect.
