Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING REAR DECK .
- Refer to REMOVING THE TOP TRIM FOR THE REAR WINDOW FRAME .
- Refer to REMOVING AUXILIARY BRAKE LIGHT .
- Refer to REMOVING BOTH TRIM PIECES FOR THE REAR WINDOW FRAME .
- Refer to REMOVING REAR SPOILER .
- Refer to REMOVING THE POWER TAILGATE SWITCH .
- Refer to REMOVING THE TRUNK LID LIGHT .
- Refer to REMOVING TAILGATE TRIM PANEL .
- Completely remove the spacers (1) .
- Use spacer 5x5x20 mm.
Parts: Spacer 5x5x20 mm
- Bond the new spacer (1) in the center on the embossed mark.
- Replace the damaged hook and loop tape (dual-lock tape) (2)
at the Rear window and the body.
Parts: Velcro fastener (Dual Lock tape)
- Bond the new hook and loop tape (Dual Lock tape) (2) in the center at the embossed mark.
