Removing Lambda oxygen sensor for the cylinders 1 to 3

- Perform all work only on components that have cooled down.
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AT THE REAR LEFT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER OF THE REAR RIGHT ENGINE COMPARTMENT .
- Refer to PARTIALLY REMOVING THE MOUNT OF THE HOOD SEAL ON LEFT AND RIGHT .
- Refer to REMOVING SUSPENSION STRUT BRACE .
- Refer to REMOVING INTAKE SILENCER HOUSING .

- Perform all work only on components that have cooled down.
- Unlock the clamps (1).
- Feed out and remove the air routing (2) in arrow direction.
- Unlock lock (1).
- Let the lock (1) engage at the holder (arrow).
- Unlock the locks (1).
- Feed out and remove the clean air pipe (2) for the cylinders 4 to 6.
- Feed out the connector (1) and (2) in arrow direction from the carrier plate (3) and set it aside.
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Feed the cable (1) out of the clamps (arrows) and set aside.
- Position the special tool 0 491 074 (11 7 020)
on the
Lambda oxygen sensor (1) for cylinders 1 to 3.
- Detach and remove the Lambda oxygen sensor (1) for cylinders 1 to 3 with the special tool 0 491 074 (11 7 020)
