Installing brake caliper at the rear

• Fit and tighten brake hose (2)  on brake caliper.
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Brake hose to brake caliper, rear
  	tightening torque	24 Nm

• Hook the brake hose into holder (1)  .

  NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE 
  Incorrect routing of the brake hose. 
  If the brake hose is twisted or in contact with surrounding components, it can be damaged and cause the brake system to fail. 

  • Do not install the brake hose in a twisted position.

• Insert the brake hose (1)  in the holder on the body side.
• Ensure a correct fit of the retaining spring (2)  !
• Attach and tighten the union screw (3)  .

• Refer to GREASING THE BRAKE PADS, THE BRAKE ANCHOR PLATE AND THE BRAKE CALIPER WITH BRAKE PAD PASTE .

• Refer to INSTALLING THE REAR BRAKE PAD WEAR SENSOR .
• Refer to INSTALLING REAR WHEEL ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT .
• Refer to REMOVING THE COVER OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AT THE REAR LEFT .
• Refer to CONNECTING THE BLEEDER UNIT FOR THE BRAKE FLUID .
• Refer to FLUSH THE REAR BRAKE AND AIR BLEED .
• Refer to DISCONNECTING THE BLEEDER UNIT FOR THE BRAKE FLUID .
• Refer to COMMISSIONING OR BEDDING IN OF NEW BRAKE PADS AND BRAKE DISCS (REAR CARBON CERAMIC BRAKE) .
