Preparing New Part

The bonding surfaces of the new parts may not sharpened or ground.

- Mark separating cut on new part in accordance with separating cuts on vehicle + 15 mm for extra material and cut.
- Prepare the joint areas for bonding with adhesive rivet technology.
- Adjust the new part together with the side panel and fix in place.
- In areas (1) , set 14 x bore holes with Ø 4.2 mm for blind rivets.
Replacing the coarse thread bolt and threaded weld bolt (steel surface)
NOTE:

- Renew the coarse thread bolt (1)
and the threaded weld bolt (2)
.
Parts: Coarse thread bolt, threaded weld bolt
Take the number and position from the component to be replaced or the add-ons.
- Weld coarse thread bolt (1) and threaded weld bolt (2) onto the new part.
