Removing the tail light on the trunk lid

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE POWER TAILGATE SWITCH .
• Refer to PARTIAL REMOVAL OF THE TRIM PANEL FOR THE TAILGATE HINGE ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT .
• Refer to REMOVING TAILGATE TRIM PANEL (M8 coupe) or REMOVING TAILGATE TRIM PANEL (M8 Gran Coupe).
• Refer to REMOVING THE WATER GUIDE AT THE TAIL LIGHT .

• Loosen screws (1).

• Feed tail light out at trunk lid (1).
• Unlock the plug connection (2) and disconnect it and remove the tail light on the tailgate (1).
