In the event of misuse or a deformed rear axle guide, the wheel carrier must always be replaced!

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE REAR LEFT WHEEL .
NOTE:
Perform the steps on the left and right side.
- Release screws (1) on heat shield (2).
- G83: Loosen screws (1).
- Mark the position of the eccentric in relation to the wheel carrier in order to simplify the subsequent setting of the rear axle.
- Release nut (1).
- Remove the eccentric washer (2).
- Pull out eccentric screw (3).
- Release the screw (1) and feed out.
- Remove the lower rear wishbone (2).
