Replace the rear axle final drive
CAUTION:

- Remove and install heavy components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- Loosen the holder (1) from the servomotor and mount it on the new rear axle differential.
- Loosen screws (1) .
- Remove adapter (2) .

Conduct the following operation with the assistance of a second person.
Conduct the following operation with the assistance of a second person.
- Release special tool 0 496 080 (33 5 206) .
- Lift the existing rear axle differential off special tool 0 496 009 (33 5 200) and put it down.
- Replace the rear axle differential.
Parts: Rear axle differential
- Position the new rear axle differential on the special tool 0 496 009 (33 5 200) and secure it using special tool 0 496 080 (33 5 206) .
- Remove the protective caps of the radial shaft seal.

- Position the adapter on the rear axle differential.
- Replace screws (1)
for adapter (2)
