Installing the swivel bearing

• Keep special tool 0 494 541 (31 2 230)  at hand.

• Spread apart the swivel bearing in the marked areas (1) with the special tool 0 494 541 (31 2 230)  .

• Feed in and install the swivel bearing (1) at the spring strut (2).

• Ensure the correct installation position of the spring strut (1) and the swivel bearing (2) in the marked area

• Install the screws (2).
• Insert the holder (3).
• Counter support at the nuts (1).
• Tighten the screws (2).

• Refer to FASTENING THE OUTPUT SHAFT ON THE WHEEL BEARING .
• Refer to INSTALLING FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT WHEEL .
• Refer to PLACING THE BRAKE PADS ON THE BRAKE DISK/PUTTING THEM INTO OPERATION .
