Removing the seal for the convertible top brace

Precondition

CAUTION: Folding up of convertible top through loss of pressure in hydraulic cylinders.
Injury hazard! Injury hazard by trapping!

When carrying out all repair work, secure soft top and soft top compartment lid with a suitable support tool against collapsing. Ensure soft top is supported in the middle.

Bring the convertible top (1) in the half opened position.
Secure the convertible top (1) from collapsing by using the support 2 452 010 if necessary.

NOTE: Perform the steps on the left and right side.
Release blind rivet (1).

Detach the seal (1) downwards for the convertible top brace partially in arrow direction from the convertible top frame.

Feed out the seal (1) for the convertible top brace in arrow direction from the seal carrier (2) and remove it.

Detach the seal (1) for the convertible top brace from the convertible top frame (2).
