Installing the hydraulic cylinder for the convertible top compartment lid

• Protect the working area from escaping hydraulic fluid.
• Check the seal (1) of the hydraulic line (2) for correct fit and damage, replace it if necessary.

  NOTE: Schematic diagram is for example purposes. Some parts may differ in certain details.
• Position the hydraulic lines (2) on the hydraulic cylinder (3).
• Push the lock plates (1) on from outside in the arrow direction and lock them.

• Install (1) cable tie.
• Make sure that the fastener of the cable tie (1) is positioned so that a collision with the other parts of the convertible top is prevented.

• Check that the retaining clips (1) on the hydraulic cylinder (2) are fitted correctly.
• Clip on the hydraulic cylinder (2) on the associated ball hub.
