Adjusting Hood

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE HOOD STRIKER .

Check 

• Check the gap dimensions between the hood and the adjoining components.

  Measure

• Adjust the hood at the hood hinge,
• Slacken the nuts (1) and (2) until the hood can be shifted.
• Shift the hood in a longitudinal direction and sideways until the hood has the specified gap dimension.
• Install the nuts (1) and (2) and tighten,
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Hood to the hinge
  Nut M8
  	Tightening torque	19 Nm
