Installing the front module bracket

Check 

• Check seal (1) of the front module bracket for damage

Result 

» The seal of the front module bracket is damaged

Measure 

• Replace the front module bracket
• Position the front module bracket (2) on the door
• Lock the bayonet closures (1) by rotating them

• Connect all electrical connectors and lock
• Clip in the vehicle wiring harness (1) on the front module bracket (2)
• Install the rubber grommet (3) of the Bowden cable for the inner door opener
• Check the rubber grommet (3) of the Bowden cable for the inner door opener for the correct fit

  • Disconnecting all battery ground leads 
• See ADDITIONAL INFORMATION .

• Fasten the screws (1) of the front module bracket (2)
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Module bracket to front door
  Torx socket M5x12	Tightening torque	8 Nm

• Move the power window up until the side window correctly snaps into the two holders
• Remove adhesive tape

• Refer to INSTALLING OUTER WINDOW CHANNEL STRIP .
• Refer to INSTALLING THE OUTSIDE REARVIEW MIRROR .
• Refer to PARTIALLY INSTALLING THE COVER ON THE INSIDE OF THE WINDOW FRAME .
• Refer to INSTALLING DOOR TRIM PANEL .
• Refer to ACTIVATING THE 48 V ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
