Replacing lock cylinder
WARNING:

- Make sure that there is no charger connected to the jump start terminal in the engine compartment
- Detach battery ground lead from battery
- For auxiliary batteries: Detach battery minus cables from all auxiliary batteries

Preliminary work
- Refer to DEACTIVATING THE 48 V ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
- Refer to PREPARING THE SPECIAL TOOL
- Refer to REMOVING THE EXTERNAL DOOR HANDLE .
- Refer to REMOVING DOOR TRIM PANEL .
- Refer to PARTIALLY REMOVING THE COVER ON THE INTERIOR WINDOW FRAME .
- Refer to REMOVING THE EXTERIOR MIRROR .
- Refer to REMOVING THE OUTER WINDOW CHANNEL STRIP .
- Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT MODULE BRACKET .
- Refer to REMOVING THE OUTER DOOR HANDLE SUPPORT .
- Detach the linkage (1) from the door lock (2)
- Unclip the cover (1) at the points (2)
- Remove cover panel (1)
- Detach the locking rod (1)
- Twist the lock cylinder (2) in clockwise direction and remove it
- Replace the lock cylinder
Parts: lock barrel
- Screw in the lock cylinder (2) counterclockwise
- Hook the locking rod (1) into the lock cylinder (2)
- Clip in the cover (1) in the points (2)
- Hook the linkage (1) into the door lock (2)
